Pingrup Silo Trail opened in time for the Pingrup Centenary Celebrations, the 14th and 15th October 2023.

Congratulations to Pingrup on Celebrating 100 years!

The Pingrup Silo Trail is a 1.2km “grade 1” trail, with wheelchair access. The circular route links Pingrup Town with the silo, meandering through arid bushland. The quality of the gravel trail is excellent, providing a very accessible and comfortable surface for all.

The trail is one of many that will make up the Bobtail Yoorn Trail. A network of walking, cycling, and paddling trails integrated with the existing Great Southern Treasures Drive Trail.

Be sure to spend a moment at the trail head, taking in the interpretive signage. We consulted over many months with the communities of our rural towns, to share the stories and images of the Great Southern town’s culture and history.

Thank you Lotterywest, Great Southern Treasures, Synergy Graphics, Albany Signs and local government authorities for working with us on this amazing network of trails.
