The Great Southern Centre for Outdoor Recreation Excellence (parent organisation to both Outdoors Great Southern and Trail Futures) said farewell to founding Board Member Chris Thompson this month.

Chris has served on the Board since GSCORE was established in June 2017. Prior to that he served on the working group responsible for developing the business case and grant applications that saw GSCORE come into being. A passionate advocate for the outdoors, Chris has been a tireless supporter of the Centre.

When asked what he’ll do with all that spare time now he’s not attending Board meetings, Chris replied, “More time spent being adventurous outdoors, of course!”.
