COVID-Safe Statement

At Outdoors Great Southern, we take the health, comfort and safety of our staff, stakeholders, and customers very seriously. Due to the unprecedented wide-reaching and constantly evolving situation arising from the COVID-19 Pandemic, we are constantly reviewing our policies and procedures to provide a COVID-Safe environment.

We are COVID-safe

All our staff are double vaccinated and continue to follow the Australian government’s advice in relation to booster vaccinations.

All customers must comply with the following regulations to help us ensure the wellbeing of everyone. If you are feeling unwell, have a fever or even just the sniffles please do not attend an event for which you have registered. This applies to parents of children registered for our Kids Adventure Club. We will provide you with a refund or credit note in line with our COVID-19 Refund Policy.

We additionally reserve the right to reschedule or cancel any of our programs based on changing Federal or State government regulations and any ‘non-essential services’ warnings issued by Federal or State governments or local government authorities (including police). In these circumstances a refund or credit note will be provided to you in line with our COVID-19 Refund Policy, and we thank you in advance for your patience, kindness and understanding in this situation.

We Have Enabled COVID-Safe Practices:

  • All customers are required to provide their full contact details on registration.
  • All customers are required to check-in to a program venue using the SafeWA or ServiceWA app or COVID register. This includes parents/guardians, and carers who attend a program and/or drop-off and/or pick-up children from an event.
  • All equipment is disinfected and sanitised both prior to and after each group.
  • Hand sanitiser is available and is to be used at the start of an activity.
  • If regulations require, customers and staff will wear masks.
  • We will notify you as far in advance in possible if our staff are unable to proceed with a program due to illness. A refund will be provided if we have to cancel due to staff unavailability.

Our contractors are COVID-Safe

We ensure that all contractors who deliver programs on our behalf are COVID-Safe:

  • All contractor staff involved in program delivery must be double vaccinated.
  • All contractors must have a compliant COVID-safety plan that outlines cleaning protocols.
